You are responsible for getting to El Paso, Texas and booking airfare home from Zihuatanejo as well as all your meals, shopping, and extra excursions such as
sportfishing, yoga, and scuba diving. We know great outfitters in all towns!.
Your recommended itinerary:
Day 1 - Early morning drive to Chihuahua train station from El Paso. The Ferrocarril Chihuahua Pacifico train departs at 6:00am and arrives at 11:30 am in Creel. Read more about the train
here. Night 1 is spent in quaint
Creel.
Day 2 - Exploring Copper Canyon. Hot
springs, beautiful
waterfalls, kayaking, mountain biking, scooter rental to ride to the bottom of the canyon, and hiking are
spectecular. A local outfitter can you provide you with affordable equipment rental for everything you need. The indigenous
Raramuri are fascinating and unspoiled by outisde contact. Night 2 is also spent in Creel.
Day 3 - Depart Creel by train and arrive into Los Mochis at 9:00PM. Night 3 is spent in Los
Mochis.
Day 4 - 5 hour drive in comfortable motorhome to Mazatlan. Surf, sail to the outer islands, snorkel, dive, kayak, hike the lighthouse , and enjoy the spectacular beaches. Night 4 in
Mazatlan.
Day 5 - Mazatlan. Surf, sail to the outer islands, snorkel, dive, kayak, hike the
lighthouse , and enjoy the spectacular beaches.
Day 6 - Mazatlan
Day 7 - 5 hour drive to Sayuliita/Puerto Vallarta with a stop for lunch in
San
Blas. The town of Sayuliita
is a beautiful, quaint town 17 miles from Puerto Vallarta without the thousands of tourists. Great beach, restaurants, surf, and snorkeling. Easy day trips into Puerto Vallarta. Night 5 in Sayulita.

Day 10 - 5 hour drive to Manzanillo /Barra De Navidad with lunch in the spectacular Mismaloya area of Puerto Vallarta. You have the option in staying in larger city of Manzanillo or the quaint beach town of Barra De Navidad. In Barra De Navidad, sportfishing, kayaking the lagoon, surfing, and relaxing on the beach are the orders of the day. Night 10 in Manzanillo/Barra De Navidad

Day 13 - 8 hour drive to Zihuatanejo with a stop for lunch at Playa Nexpa. Zihuatanejo is spectacular,
